Life can be unfair at times. Life IS unfair.
The secret to overcoming 'unfairness' of life lies in how you choose to look at it.

[lady gaga's Grammy Awards opening performance]
I love watching Lady Gaga perform. Although she won only 2 Grammys this year she will always be the best artiste that i had adored in a long time.
Lady Gaga duets with Elton John.

[choice]
Read More!I share a quote i got from a friend's blog.
When we wake up in the morning, we have 2 simple choices.
Go back to sleep and dream, or wake up and chase those dreams.
The choice is ours…
[when intellectuals talk]
It is really different when you hear intellectuals talk. They punctuate their sentences with very factual ideas and they deliver what they want to say in a very professional way.
I am impressed and awed at the same time.
Maybe someday in the future i might be able to talk like them and impress people the same way. Hopefully.

[super schools II]
With the current education system being fragmented, racialized and politicized to many extent it is hard to see how we are going to gain truly remarkable personalities that these colonial era schools once produced.
English schools like Victoria Institution, Penang Free School, St.Francis Institution and English College (my school) are the real model schools for the exemplary and outstanding students that they produced. Most importantly, students from these schools often show what racial unity really means unlike those who originate from single stream school. Some may disagree on this point but the evidence is out there in the open for you to judge yourself.
My hope is for the government to do something. Coming out with grand plan once every 2,3 years is not going to change things or solve the current problems plaguing our education system, racial polarization being the primary concern of all.
Let's pray for a better education system for our childrens of tomorrow.
p/s: The writer of the article forgot to include the fact that Malaysia's richest man, Tan Sri Robert Kuok is an alumni of English College. Proud*. :)

[cyberjaya:a beginning]
But it's a refreshing new experience for me. I stayed in JB for 2o years and then i was in Melaka for 3 years for my degree and now i am in a new city. I am basically living in a new city for every phase of my life: growing up, getting a degree and working.
I am the first one in my family to get out of Johor Bahru. So proud of myself (pats himself proudly on the back).
Ok i just bought a new mattress and i am going to have a major cleaning up soon. Right now i am just going to sit back and enjoy the sunset. I am loving this room so much already.
[super schools?]
We don't know what happened to this program. There are no progress reports, news or any announcement as to how the students in these selected schools are performing. In short we don't know for real if the program really met its intended objectives or not.
And now we have a new one. Do we really need so many programmes? Why can't we just concentrate on one and try to make it a success instead of constantly coming up with new programs with every change in the Minister at helm?
It is true what people say, our education system has turned into a big giant lab with our students becoming guinea pigs for constant experiments. Too many changes in the policies and there are no consistency in the direction they are taking.
For me the best way is to just focus on raising the teaching standard and the quality of education the schools can provide. If we are able to do these then we can focus on bringing other programmes, with proper planning.

[quote of the day]
"The reason you haven't felt it is because it doesn't exist. What you call love was invented by guys like me to sell nylons. You're born alone and you die alone and this world just drops a bunch of rules on top of you to make you forget those facts. But I never forget. I'm living like there's no tomorrow, because there isn't one"
Don Draper, Mad Men.
Just one of those memorable quotes that hits you straight away.

[goodbye]
it's been a good 3 years.
i have to move on.
ending one phase of my life
and
starting another.
goodbye now...
We Said Hello, Goodbye
We said goodbye to a dear old friend
And we packed our bags and left feeling sad
It's the only way
We said hello as we turned the key
A new roof over our heads
Gave a smile
It's the only way
Only way
Turn your head and don't look back
Just set your sails for a new horizon
Don't turn around don't look down
Oh there's life across the tracks
And you know it's really not surprising
It gets better when you get there
